Roof repairs in Beaconsfield: valleys, flashings, clay tiles and leaks

Roof repairs in Beaconsfield for big New Town roofs and old clay tile roofs in the Old Town. Ring 01494 292776 and Pat traces the leak, shows you the cause and gives you a free, no-obligation quote.

The large detached houses of the New Town have roofs full of junctions: hips, valleys, dormers, tile-hung gables and two or three chimneys each. Lead does the work at every junction, and on the older houses that lead is now near the end of its life. Valleys split, flashings lift and soakers under the tiles fail.

In the Old Town round London End, Wycombe End and Aylesbury End, steep clay tile roofs lose tiles as the pegs and nails give way, and their big chimney stacks need repointing and new lead. Repairs are done with matching tiles so they do not show.

Pat works through the roof junction by junction, from the roof and from the loft, shows you what he found and prices each part separately. Our materials and workmanship are guaranteed.

Roof repairs in Beaconsfield: questions

How much does a roof repair cost in Beaconsfield?

A few slipped tiles refixed from a ladder runs about £150 to £450. A new lead valley runs about £600 to £1,500 and new chimney flashing about £400 to £950, with scaffold on top on taller roofs.

Can you match old clay tiles?

Yes. Matching clay tiles are used so the repair blends in.

Do you fix leaking dormers?

Yes: the flat roof, the lead cheeks and the tiles round them.

How quickly can you come out?

Fast. Ring 01494 292776: the line is answered 24/7, and customers on Google say Pat came out the very next day and fitted them in at short notice.

Will you tell me if the roof needs replacing instead?

Yes, straight. If the felt has perished and the repairs keep coming back, a new roof is the better spend, and Pat shows you why on the roof. If a repair will do, he says so: that is exactly what Kerry's review describes.

What our customers say

FrancescaSmall roof repair · February 2026

We contacted the service about a roofing issue at our home and he came out the very next day to take a look. Even though the job was small, he was willing to take it on without hesitation. The work was handled professionally and in a timely manner. It’s not always easy to find someone who responds quickly and is willing to help with smaller projects. Highly recommended!

KerryRoof and loft repairs, chimney support · February 2026

Safetech Roofing completed a number of repairs to the roof and loft space in my house, as well as the installation of an internal support element for a partially removed chimney stack. The work was done to a very high standard and at the agreed quotation, which was good value. A council building control officer then inspected and passed the structural element of the works. When some queries were raised by building control, Safetech went above and beyond to help resolve them. The suggestions made by Safetech and their team all the way through were extremely knowledgeable and practical. They also actively discouraged me from carrying out unnecessary expensive work, and instead suggested a lower cost, simpler solution, which the building control officer then agreed with. Additionally, the scaffolding had to be left in place far, far longer than expected - this was due to delays on my side and Pat generously didn’t charge extra for this

FrankieComplete re-roof · February 2026

I recently had a complete new re-roof done by Safe Tech Roofing, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, their professionalism was spot on. They explained everything clearly, provided a fair and detailed quote, and stuck to the agreed timescale. The team worked incredibly hard, kept the site clean and organised, and showed real attention to detail throughout the entire job. The quality of workmanship is excellent, the new roof looks fantastic and gives me complete peace of mind knowing it’s been done properly. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. Reliable, skilled, and trustworthy, I would highly recommend Safe Tech Roofing to anyone needing roofing work done. Top company. Top job.
